Join Urban Rec for the inaugural Granville Island Brewing Hearbreaker coed basketball tournament on February 23rd at the UBC Student Rec Centre!
Standard Urban Rec basketball rules apply- this means that games are self-officiated and teams should emphasize playing with good sportsmanship. Teams registering for this tournament must be familiar with Urban Rec basketball rules. If you are unsure or have any questions, please contact Adriel at [email protected].
Teams will have 3 round-robin games and then all teams will make the playoffs. Round-robin games will each be 25 minutes in length; playoff matches will be comprised of two 25-minute halves. Playoffs are single-knockout. Teams may be reseeded during/after the round-robin portion of the tournament. Division Champs will receive a set of sweet champion tshirts!
Tournament will begin at 9am and end at 5pm.
Registration is $375 (tax included) per team.
