As league details are finalized, they will be posted at the bottom of this page.
*Priority registration is for teams that played in the previous season of that specific league.
Open registration is for teams that did NOT play in the previous season.
Individual registration may not be available for all leagues.

Individual Teams Policy
⚾Urban Rec MaxFun Softball Leagues (Vancouver)
- A complete starting line up should consist of 10 players including at least 4 woman and one man
- click on the RULES and FAQ sections at the bottom of this page for more info
- teams must provide their own set of bases (except individuals’ teams- Urban Rec will provide a set of bases). Click here to see what you need in your set of bases. Home team for each game is responsible for bringing and setting up their bases.
- participants supply their own gloves and bats
- fields/diamonds will vary from week to week and are located throughout the city of Vancouver (City of Vancouver Fields)
- Sunday league- teams will play each Sunday
- Weekday league will play once a week on either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday (i.e. you could play on any of those nights each week).
- if games are cancelled by Urban Rec, then the season may be extended or doubleheaders may be scheduled to make up the missed games

🏏Thunderchicken Slo-pitch (UBC)
- coed leagues that play all games at UBC
- click on the RULES and FAQ sections at the bottom of this page for more info
- Urban Rec provides the bases (home team in the first game of the day for each field is responsible for picking up the bases from the storage area and setting them up, and the losing team in the last game of the day on each field is responsible for cleaning them up and bringing them back to the storage area)
- participants provide their own gloves and bats
- leagues are coed and teams need to have at least 5 women and 1 man in the field if fielding a full lineup of 10 players
- teams will play on the same night each week - you just have to pick the night you want to play!

- leagues are coed and teams need a minimum of 4 women and 1 man if fielding a full lineup of 10 players
- teams can have additional players in their batting order (but the maximum in the field is 10 players at a time)
- games will be at Hjorth Road Park diamonds. Royal Kwantlen Park may also be used.

- upcoming league information will be posted at the bottom of this page as bookings are finalized (additional leagues may be posted closer to the registration date)
- not all leagues may be offered in each season due to facility unavailability
- not all leagues may offer individual registration
- note that individuals’ teams are recreational in nature and are seeded as such (at least initially). More experienced players are welcome to join, but be aware that the overall skill level is generally less experienced.
