Urban Rec offers a variety of softball leagues- please see below for a description of each league:

Urban Rec MaxFun Sunday Softball League (City of Surrey Fields)
This new league is a coed league requiring a ratio of 6 guys and 4 girls in the field. Teams will play on the same day each week (Sunday), but the fields that they play on will vary from week to week.

This league plays at softball diamonds throughout the City of Surrey (with fields all over the city).

Teams must provide bases, gloves, and bats (and uniforms) in this league.

Uniforms are not provided.

Urban Rec MaxFun Softball League (City of Vancouver Fields) – SOLD OUT FOR 2017
This new league is a coed league requiring a ratio of 6 guys and 4 girls in the field. The Sunday League teams will play on the same day each week, but the fields that they play on will vary from week to week. NOTE- the mid-week league teams will play once a week on either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

This league plays at softball diamonds throughout the City of Vancouver (with fields all over the city).

Teams must provide bases, gloves, and bats (and uniforms) in this league.

Uniforms are not provided.

Thunderchicken Slo-pitch (UBC Fields) – SOLD OUT FOR 2017
A long standing league with Urban Rec, the Thunderchicken Softball League is a co-ed league that plays all of its games at UBC. Teams must have a ratio of 5 guys and 5 girls in the field. (When playing in Urban Rec softball) Teams will play one game each week, on the same night each week - you just have to pick the night you want to play. Urban Rec supplies the bases. Teams supply gloves & bats.

Teams in this league are provided with a set of 12 t-shirts for uniforms. Teams in this league also have the chance to be invited to a year-end tournament in which the best and most fun sportsmanlike teams wrap up the season in style.
